ROBERT ABAJYAN

Born in Yerevan.
2003-2011- Studied at the School №147.
2011-2014- Studied dental technology at the
Yerevan State Base Medical College.
2014- Studied at the St. Theresa Medical University, Yerevan.
January 21, 2015- Conscipted into the army, served in
N military unit of the Defense Army of RA as infantry squad
commander. Promoted to the military rank of Junior Sergeant.
Killed on April 2, 2016 when defending the 116 military post
of the 5th Defense Region together with his fellow servicemen
Capt. Armenak Urfanyan, Pvt. Kyaram Sloyan, Andranik Zohrabyan.
Posthumously awarded the “Golden Eagle” order of Artsakh
(it is awarded to individuals awarded with the highest title
of Artsakh – “Hero of Artsakh”), RA Order of “Combat Cross”
of the 1st Degree, Medal for “Combat Service” of Artsakh,
“Armenian Yerkrapah” medal of the “Yerkrapah Volunteers’
Union” NGO, “Azatamartik” medal of the “Azatamartik”
military-patriotic and charitable NGO and medal for
“Eternal Glory” of the “Guards Star” NGO.
